Blockchain and Government: Ways of Development and Prospects for Interaction to be discussed at Blockchain Conference Astana

Less than 2 months are left before one of the key events in the world of Blockchain. On June 14 – 15, Astana will host Blockchain Conference Astana, which will bring together representatives of the blockchain industry from around the world to talk about their successful experience of using this technology in the governmental, financial and energy environment.

The Conference program will consist of 3 key panels:

– Prospects of blockchain for e-government

– Advanced blockchain solutions for financial industry

– Blockchain innovations for energy environment.

 Oleg Strelenko will speak during the panel dedicated to the usage of blockchain for e-gov. The blockchain developer with 5 years of experience, founder and head of cyber security agency DDO-Expert will cover the topic of domestic and international blockchain protocols.

A lawyer, founder and managing partner of the law society Juscutum Artem Afian will inform whether the state registry will be replaced by the blockchain. Artem is a member of the expert council at the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Informatization and Information Technologies, a member of the committee at the Internet Association of Ukraine on Intellectual Property and a head of the legal committee at the Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Ukraine. In addition, Artem actively supports legalization of Bitcoin in Ukraine. He will speak about legal nuances of regulation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain in the world and the CIS.
